The IT Business Analyst (BA) II will work closely with all stakeholders to develop and maintain a roadmap for the delivery of digital capabilities to solve business problems. They will lead the efforts of gathering, validating and translating business requirements into design and development specifications to deliver digital solutions to the enterprise. The BA II will also act as the liaison between development staff, management and end users.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities required.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners and IT staff to develop and maintain a roadmap to deliver technologies and digital capabilities that provide process improvements and have a positive impact on business performance in the areas of sales and order management (Quote to Cash).
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to provide excellent customer service; keep stakeholder(s) informed of progress, changes, risks and problems throughout the various phases of solution delivery.
- Anticipate changes in technologies and understand the impact on the business processes, work to minimize negative impacts while looking to leverage new features/functionality to drive process improvements; develop a deep understanding of current systems and processes and analyze impact of changes as new solutions are introduced.
- Monitor, track and respond to requests from stakeholders; proactively use requests, service desk tickets and observations as input into the digital capabilities roadmap for assigned business areas.
- Drive collaboration between various internal stakeholder(s) and IT to aid in the execution all stages of projects from concept and requirements to final hand-off to end users; interpret and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Create, edit and update test plans/work instructions and educate appropriate stakeholders on how to use/test solution; perform initial testing to ensure agreed upon solution(s) are met before handoff to stakeholder for testing.
- Identify training opportunities for end users of existing technologies.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

- Ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders to create alignment and ownership around a solution and shared objectives.
- Ability to make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information and articulate the reason for decision; ability to work with some level of ambiguity.
- Must have strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple concurrent and varying requests across multiple platforms.
- Ability to take on new and challenging opportunities with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm, be a self-starter and have excellent organizational skills with ability to meet commitments and deadlines.
- Ability to locate inefficient processes and drill into the real issue, looking for ways to improve the process.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to create clarity between all stakeholder(s) so there is an understanding by all.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, providing timely and helpful information to others across the organization, encouraging open expression of diverse ideas and opinions.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced office environment.
- Travel between facilities required.
- Occasional international travel may be necessary at times.
- Must be able to access all areas of operation.
