The Fort Sill Apache Housing Authority Board is now accepting applications for the position of Housing Authority Executive Director.
This full-time leadership position is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all operations of the Housing Authority while ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and serving the needs of our community.
Position: Executive Director
Department: Housing Authority
Employment Status: Full-Time
Pay Scale: Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Oversee daily operations and staff of the Housing Authority
• Ensure compliance with HUD rules, policies, and regulations
• Manage financial operations, budgets, and expenditures
• Develop programs and procedures to improve housing services
• Report regularly to the Board of Commissioners
• Maintain strong relationships with tribal, federal, and state partners
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of housing programs and regulations preferred
• Must obtain Housing Manager certification within 3–5 years (if not already certified)
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and insurable
