What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining/Banquet Server position at Fort Schuyler Club?
A private club located in downtown Utica is seeking experienced servers to join our food and beverage team.
Ideal candidates will have experience in fine dining and/or banquet service, with a strong focus on professional, attentive hospitality. Bartending knowledge or experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Lunch shifts: Monday–Friday, approximately 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Dinner shifts: Approximately 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
- Additional hours may be available for private events and banquets
Qualifications:
- Previous fine dining and/or banquet serving experience preferred
- Bartending knowledge is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely navigate stairs throughout a shift
- Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed
