What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Clerk/Receptionist position at Fort & Schlegel CPA?
We are looking for a front desk receptionist! This job would be perfect for a mom looking to fill the time while her children are at school. Duties would include but are not limited to:
Answer phone calls: This can involve taking messages or directing calls to appropriate personnel, and even directly answering general questions from clients, customers, and others.
Receive visitors: A receptionist might be able to deal with clients needs themselves but often directs them to the proper personnel or location. Will assist clients with signing and tax forms and collecting fees.
Schedule clients and customers: Most receptionist are responsible for scheduling clients and customers to meet with personnel, or they'll schedule personnel for off-site duties, such as audits, court appearances, consulting, and meetings.
Collect information: Gather personal information from new clients and confirm previously gathered information for others.
Respond to incoming mail: this includes email and paper mail, typically directing each to the proper personnel.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Data entry, printing, scanning, and faxing.
