What are the responsibilities and job description for the UC Bartender PDH position at FORT PONTCHARTRAIN?
Job Purpose: To provide an excellent guest service by engaging guest and delivering a premium, friendly, courteous food and beverage service to our guest. Your goal should be to anticipate guest needs and deliver an exceptional service that they expect from one of the top performing hotels in the Detroit area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Employees must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Engage with guests, providing food and beverage menus and recommendations.
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all guest issues promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Prepare and serve signature cocktails, classic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages that enhance the guest experience.
- Process orders efficiently and accurately into the Point of Sales (POS) system.
- At all times maintain cleanliness of the dining room and bar area, perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
- Ensure uniform and appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- Bartending experience a must.
- Nights, weekend and holiday availability is a must.
- Prior hotel experience is a plus.
- Excellent guest engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
