POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE:
Certified Driving Instructor
Morgan County School District Re-3 – Certified Commercial Driving School (CCDS)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Morgan County School District Re-3 is seeking Certified Driving Instructors to join its Certified Commercial Driving School (CCDS) team. Instructors will provide driver education services to high school students in one or more of the following areas: classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel driving hours, and drive testing.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Driving Instructor Certification through the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles, Driver Testing and Education Unit.
- Demonstrated experience in driver education is preferred.
- Ability to effectively engage with and instruct high school students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide state-approved classroom instruction in driver education.
- Supervise and instruct students during behind-the-wheel training sessions.
- Conduct official drive tests for licensure in compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain accurate student records and adhere to CCDS and state standards.
Compensation:
This is a part-time, fee-based position. Instructors will be compensated according to a set fee schedule per student for instruction and/or testing services provided.
