What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker Elementary-2.5 Hours position at Fort Madison Community School District?
Hours: 2.5 hours day (10:30 am-1:00 pm)
Pay: $12.35 hour
Qualifications: The qualified applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or grade level equivalent diploma (GED), be able to pass a background check and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Maintain a cheery disposition with all children, staff and co-workers
- Setup serving area
- Cleaning and storing utensils, trays ,pans and kitchen equipment
- Portion and serve food to students and staff
- Clean lunchroom, kitchen and equipment after use
- Maintain high degree of sanitation
- Obtain Sanitation Certificate in the first 90 days of employment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others
- Attend work regularly and promptly
- Able to learn Point of Service computer program
- Complete Required District Training
- Reports to Food Service Manager and Director of Food Service
Physical Requirements:
Bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking
