What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Substitute 2025-2026 position at Fort Madison Community School District?
Pay: $11.00 hour
Qualifications: The qualified applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or grade level equivalent diploma (GED), be able to pass a background check and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
Roles and Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Float between buildings where needed.
- Follow recipes and use kitchen scales and measuring utensils to prepare meals
- Maintain inventory
- Clean and store utensils, trays, pans and kitchen equipment
- Portion and serve food to students and staff
- Clean lunchroom, kitchen and equipment after use
- Maintain high degree of sanitation
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others
- Attend work regularly and promptly
- Must have reliable transportation
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements: Bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking
