Gibson County Special School District is currently accepting applications for an Educational Assistant.
Position Summary: The Educational Assistant is responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in educating and meeting the needs of student(s) while under his or her care.
Required Education/Certification/Endorsement:
Official employment is contingent upon:
- High School Diploma or GED AND have successfully Passed the Praxis ParaPro Assessment as the statewide test for paraprofessionals;OR
- 48 Hours of post-secondary education
