What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Food and Beverage Manager position at Fort Lupton Press?
**Beginning pay range for position: $28.50-$34.20 per hour**
Under the supervision of the General Manager, the F&B Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Golf Course clubhouse food and beverage operations, as well as the beverage carts. The Manager also plans, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates food and beverage needs at the clubhouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service; responds to complaints and concerns.
- Energetic and positive person, capable of handling all types of customer service situations and energetically lead a team.
- Coordinates meal planning, meal set up and the serving of customers for daily play and special events in the dining room and in the tournament area.
- Able to forecast necessary inventory needs to meet the weekly needs of the Food and Beverage operation.
- Responsible for inventory control, ordering and receiving all food and beverage products, equipment and supplies.
- Inspects food service equipment and facilities to ensure that state and local health law requirements are met.
- Capable of following all alcohol and food sanitation laws set forth by Weld County and the State of Colorado.
- Leads and trains all associates in the Food and Beverage operation to facilitate the highest service standards, providing clear and concise communication to all employees and departments.
- Assists the General Manager in long-range planning for the facility.
- Inspects and tastes prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- Stays up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
- Collects payments and prepares daily revenue reports. Makes daily cash and credit card deposits of revenue as outlined by City policy.
- Manages employee payroll reports and other human resource related items associated with the Food and Beverage operation, including hiring, separation, time reporting, performance management and all supervisory functions.
- Requests necessary maintenance, repairs and/or cleaning of facilities and equipment.
- Establishes appropriate pricing and menu selection; eliminates or adds items to the menu.
- Acts as a public relations agent for the Golf Course.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education And/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED; supplemented by two (2) years of previous experience
That includes food and beverage management and leadership of other workers; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Basic understanding of the game of golf, its rules and regulations.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the General Manager, Golf Operations staff, Maintenance staff as well as the public.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including weekdays and weekends.
- The willingness and ability to step into any role, function or task associated with the clubhouse to service the customer.

Supplemental Information
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
Primary tasks involve standing for periods of four or more ours at a time. Also required is the ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort; typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet conditions, heat or cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
