## Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** The following duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serves as first point of contact for visitors.
- Manages the phone activity including answering and directing incoming calls appropriately to individuals or departments.
- Responds to telephone and in person inquires of general nature or directs individual to appropriate destination.
- Accepts payments, prepares receipts, and processes payments using cash receipting software. Balance money received and completes daily cash reports.
- Serves as liaison between the City and the general public and outside agencies.
- Provides various clerical support functions such as data entry, typing, filing, maintaining records, processing paperwork, preparing mailings and proofreading documents as needed.
- Enters membership records into designed computer software and maintains membership records and correspondence.
- Oversee room reservations.
- Maintains equipment check out log.
- Maintain daily usage reports.
- Uphold confidentiality.
- Implement and interpret organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Monitor all areas of the Recreation/Community Facility.Enforce rules and policies.Provide accesses for public contact and customer service.Help with room set ups as needed.

- Knowledge of customer relations techniques.
- Working knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment including a computer, various
- printers and switchboard type phone system.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures of basic record keeping.
- Knowledge and ability to apply basic mathematic principles.
- Ability to positively interact with general public, contractors, governmental entities, and other professional
- clientele.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
- Ability to enforce policies and rules to all age of participants.

Experience
- Experience involving public contact and previous customer service preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
**LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS**
- First Aid, CPR, AED certifications within 6 months of hire.
