We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator for our Fort Lauderdale MRI center. This role is critical in ensuring seamless communication between our office and referral sources while maintaining accurate scheduling and tracking systems.
This is not a passive front desk role, we are looking for someone who is proactive, responsive, and takes ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer and manage all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments (same-day / next-day priority)
• Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets daily (Excel proficiency required)
• Communicate consistently with referral sources, attorneys, and case managers
• Follow up on pending referrals, missed calls, and unscheduled patients
• Verify patient information and ensure accuracy of records
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Manage emails, faxes, and document intake
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail (critical for this role)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and phone skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred Experience
• Medical office experience (MRI, chiropractic, or personal injury a plus)
• Familiarity with PIP / personal injury cases
• Experience working with attorneys or referral-based practices
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
