Job Summary
We are looking for part-time teacher assistants to join our early childhood education team, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture and support the development of young children. Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Assist with classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning
- Help with diapering, feeding, and basic health checks while adhering to all health and safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures
- Participate in ongoing training on childhood development, behavior management, mandated reporting laws, and early childhood education best practices
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, energy, and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift light loads such as toys or supplies for extended periods

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
