After-School Care Worker Part Time Hourly 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1010 Salary: $15.00 Hourly The Extended Day Program After School Assistant works with individuals and small groups of Pre-K through 8th grade students under the supervision of the Extended Day Program Coordinator. Extended Day Program Assistants will provide Christian supervision and instruction to students that will create a positive learning environment and allow for students' spiritual, social, and academic development. The Extended Day After School Program follows the school calendar and is closed during normal school closure days. The ideal applicant will have experience working with children. Duties and Responsibilities: *Prepare materials and equipment for after school instructional activities *Assist students with homework assignments *Maintain a daily attendance log *Create a fun and safe learning environment *Be prepared to implement the lesson plans and activities for each day *Be punctual and dependable Job Qualifications: Must be a Christian who possess love, care, and concern for children and enjoy being with and working with children Must meet background clearance requirements Knowledge of school subject areas including math, language arts, bible and science to assist students in homework General Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 - 6:00 This is a perfect job for applicants who are Early Childhood Education majors and Social Work majors!
