Schedule
Scheduling is flexible depending on your availability and program needs. Forsyth is seeking counselors for the following times:
- Before Care: 7am - 8am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- After Care: 2:45pm - 6pm Monday through Friday
Duties
- Supervise, engage, and play with students after school
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities
- Prepare and serve snacks and meals
- Respond appropriately to minor emergencies and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children
- Set up and clean up the care spaces each day
- Communicate with parents and school staff regarding students' needs and activities
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children in a positive, nurturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and responsible
Compensation
$15/hour. This position is part-time, hourly, non-exempt.
