What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at FORSGATE COUNTRY CLUB?
Forsgate Country Club is recruiting for enthusiastic, motivated and experienced part-time Maintenance Technician. The right candidate will have experience with property maintenance and being able to work in a fast-paced environment. Forsgate Country Club features a historic clubhouse, two 18-hole golf courses and a sports complex including a junior Olympic size swimming pool.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Maintenance with facilitating the maintenance and upkeep of the property by troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing equipment as well as experience with HVAC, water heaters, appliances, painting, plumbing, electrical systems, asphalt, building interior and exterior upkeep, roofing, and carpentry.
General Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required.
- HVAC experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in variable types of weather and temperatures.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be available to work weekends as well as nights and holidays as needed.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Weekends are a must.
