Position Summary
The Manager, EMR Implementation & Integration is responsible for leading Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementations across newly acquired and existing clinics while supporting operational integration and staff training. This role combines project management, knowledge of clinical systems, corporate training, and change management to ensure successful system adoption and a consistent operating model across all locations.
This individual will partner with clinic leaders, providers, corporate teams, and vendors to design workflows, implement systems, train staff, and reinforce our culture, processes, and patient experience standards. The role reports to the Vice President of Integration. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities
EMR Implementation & Optimization
- Lead EMR implementation projects across new and existing clinics.
- Coordinate planning, system configuration, workflow design, data migration, go-live support, and post-implementation optimization.
- Serve as primary liaison between clinic staff, vendors, and internal leadership.
- Develop implementation timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
- Assess EMR training needs through observation, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Coach clinic managers and staff to improve adoption of systems and processes.
- Measure training effectiveness using KPIs and user feedback.
- Monitor post-go-live performance and drive continuous optimization.
Integration & Ownership of Operating Model
- Support integration of newly acquired clinics into company systems, workflows, and culture.
- Assist with training clinic teams on our operating model, policies, and patient experience standards.
- Partner with clinic leadership to identify workflow gaps and improve efficiency, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
- Reinforce company values and best practices during integrations to build trust and alignment.
Project Leadership & Communication
- Manage multiple implementation timelines and priorities across clinics.
- Build strong relationships with providers, clinic staff, and corporate teams.
- Facilitate project meetings, track milestones, and communicate progress to leadership.
Skills/Abilities
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to translate technical EMR workflows into practical clinic operations.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs.
- Fluency, or ability to become fluent, in EMR/PM Systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess KPIs and improve processes.
- Strong change‑management and problem‑solving skills.
- Adaptability in a fast‑growing, multi‑site environment.
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships in-person and remotely.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, nursing, education, or similar. (MBA, MHA, or MPH a plus)
- 3–7 years of experience in EMR implementation, healthcare IT, clinic operations, corporate training, or similar roles.
- Experience in multi‑site healthcare/multi-site retail or post‑acquisition integration preferred.
- Experience with change management or process improvement methodologies a plus.
Compensation
- $110k-$125k, pending years of experience.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
