Formula Wellness is a rapidly expanding, multi-location wellness and aesthetics platform operating across a diverse portfolio of brands and clinical centers. The Digital Marketing Manager is a senior-level oversight role responsible for managing the performance of our entire digital ecosystem- not as a tactical executor, but as a strategic manager who holds agencies and vendors accountable for results.
This role owns the oversight of all digital agencies (paid media, SEO, social media, and website), drives agency evaluation and selection, and ensures every center in our growing platform has a high-performing, on-brand digital footprint. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the performance of paid digital advertising across all locations and for holding agency partners to measurable standards of quality and ROI.
This is not a role for someone whose experience is primarily in social media management or content creation. We are looking for a well-rounded digital marketing leader with broad experience across paid media, SEO, analytics, CRM, and web- someone who can manage complexity across multiple brands and agency relationships simultaneously, often with limited data visibility as we build out our infrastructure.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, multi-brand environment, brings rigorous project management discipline, and can turn ambiguous data into clear strategic recommendations that drive patient acquisition and revenue growth. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
Salary range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities
Agency Oversight, Evaluation & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary manager and performance owner for all digital agencies, including paid media, SEO, social media, and website partners- directing strategy and holding agencies accountable, not executing tactically.
- Lead the ongoing evaluation, selection, onboarding, and performance review of digital agencies and freelancers across all brands and centers.
- Define KPIs and SLAs for each agency relationship; conduct regular performance reviews and make recommendations to retain, replace, or restructure vendor relationships.
- Manage multiple agency relationships simultaneously across disparate brands, ensuring consistent standards and strong communication across all partners.
Paid Digital Advertising Oversight
- Own the performance outcomes of all paid digital advertising across every center and brand-including paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting- executed by agency partners.
- Set campaign strategy, budget allocation guidance, and performance targets; review agency output and ensure campaigns are driving efficient patient acquisition.
- Monitor ROAS, CAC, lead quality, and conversion metrics; escalate or redirect agency efforts when performance falls below targets.
- Ensure paid media activity aligns with center-level growth goals and national campaign priorities.
Digital Footprint & Center-Level Performance
- Oversee the digital footprint for each Formula Wellness center, ensuring every location has accurate, optimized, and brand-consistent presence across all digital channels.
- Govern Google Business Profiles, local SEO, digital listings, and online reputation management across the portfolio through regional support and agency partners.
- Support post-merger integration (PMI) digital onboarding: redirects, landing pages, listings, and brand alignment for new center acquisitions.
- Coordinate national and center-level digital initiatives including service launches, seasonal promotions, and geo-targeted campaigns.
Digital Strategy & Performance Management
- Partner with the VP of Marketing to develop and implement digital strategies aligned to patient acquisition, CAC efficiency, and revenue growth goals.
- Monitor performance using GA4, Meta Ads Manager, CRM reporting, and other analytics tools; translate data into actionable recommendations even when visibility is incomplete or evolving.
- Maintain tracking integrity and attribution standards across all campaigns and channels as infrastructure continues to develop.
Website Project Management
- Serve as the strategic project lead for all major website initiatives- redesigns, platform upgrades, new center onboarding, and multi-brand integrations- executed by web agency partners.
- Define requirements, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with UX best practices, brand standards, SEO priorities, and operational needs.
- Maintain timelines, deliverables, and quality standards; coordinate with the Regional Marketing Coordinator and center teams for tactical updates.
Content Strategy & Brand Governance
- Provide strategic direction for digital content across social, email, web, and campaign channels-ensuring brand voice, compliance, and consistency.
- Review and approve content produced by social media agencies, creative vendors, and center teams; provide clear direction to ensure on-brand execution.
- Manage a unified content calendar across national and local marketing needs.
SEO & CRM Oversight
- Oversee SEO strategy, keyword focus, and site structure priorities in partnership with SEO agency partners; hold agencies accountable for organic performance.
- Support improvements in CRM-driven nurturing flows, automations, and lead lifecycle management in partnership with operational/marketing team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with clinical leadership, operations, and partner centers to ensure digital strategies align with patient experience and business objectives.
- Participate in leadership and campaign planning sessions, contributing data-driven recommendations.
- Stay current on trends in aesthetics, wellness, and digital marketing to inform ongoing strategy.
Skills & Abilities
- Deep understanding of the full digital marketing ecosystem: paid media, SEO, CRM, web, and analytics- not limited to social or content.
- Proven ability to manage, evaluate, and hold accountable multiple digital agencies and vendors simultaneously across disparate brands.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to form clear recommendations even with incomplete or limited data visibility.
- Comfortable working with complexity: multiple brands, multiple agencies, and multiple markets at once.
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated success leading multi-phase digital initiatives.
- Strong communicator and cross-functional leader; able to influence without authority.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational follow-through.
- Experience in multi-location or multi-brand environments strongly preferred.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a broad digital marketing role with demonstrated success across paid media, SEO, analytics, and web- not limited to social media management.
- Proven experience managing and evaluating digital agencies across multiple channels.
- Demonstrated ownership of paid digital advertising performance (paid search and/or paid social) at a strategic, oversight level.
- Experience managing website projects or redesigns through agency partners.
- Proficiency with GA4, Meta Ads Manager, CRM reporting tools, and SEO analytics platforms.
- Experience in aesthetics, wellness, or healthcare preferred.
