As a Assistant Production Supervisor you will be part of our growing Pittsburgh manufacturing team, our career track allows your performance to allow you to earn career progress incentives!The Assistant Production Supervisor will oversee the production staff within a thriving group on our manufacturing floor. This involves overseeing processes and resources for the purpose of manufacturing architectural products as directed by senior management. Expected to perform any and all tasks necessary to maintain a safe, quality-conscious, cost-effective and productive environment.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of equipment, employee performance, quality, scheduling and safety in assigned areas.Manages the pace and daily production expectations for production employees.Ensures that schedules are being followed, quality product is being produced, and customer demand is being met.Works effectively in cooperation with other departments; communicates professionally both upstream and downstream of position.Responsible for ensuring company policies, procedures, and performance requirements are being met. Responds appropriately if department personnel does not comply with Company policy and/or procedures.Assists production supervisor in employee management and helps to troubleshoot issues on the production floor.Able to aid supervisor with strategic production decisions, and can step in when the supervisor is unavailable.
