Scope and responsibilities:

• Good Knowledge about PO and related documentation.
• Manage internal Purchase Requisitions, PO preparation, vendor master.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, with a focus on procurement modules.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
• Good awareness about costing, payment terms, payment modes.
• Basic knowledge of inventory like stock levels and priorities.
• Basic awareness about procurement leads time.
• Basic knowledge of creating new part numbers.
• Create reports to track and analyze procurement performance metrics.
• Ensure timely material availability by communicating with suppliers and updating material receipt dates.
• Coordinate with USA procurement and accounts team to understand and manage procurement orders.

Required qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in procurement/supply chain.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Analytical skills with the ability to work with data and generate reports.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for vendor interactions.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have good written and verbal skills to communicate with USA team.
• Advance skills in MS Excel, MS Word.
