Lead our bending cell and powder coat lineAs the Production Supervisor, you’ll orchestrate the flow of work across bending and the paint line to deliver high-quality products at the lowest possible cost. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll recruit and develop talent, set daily priorities, and keep schedules and standards on target—all while meeting customer specifications and delivery dates.What your day looks likeMap the day’s plan: prioritize, schedule, and delegate assignments; directly guide systems integration and test activities.Balance demand vs. supply: build and adjust production schedules; verify component and sub-assembly availability against the build plan; coordinate with Purchasing on shortages.Develop people: interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, appraise performance, reward, and, when needed, discipline. Address complaints and resolve issues promptly.Lift performance: analyze processes; recommend changes to methods, equipment, and staffing to improve throughput, quality, and utilization.Keep equipment ready: implement preventive maintenance and plan repairs to minimize downtime.Standardize the shop: create/maintain departmental policies, procedures, and documentation; ensure complete and accurate paperwork (timecards, quality records, etc.).Lead metrics: provide internal performance reporting and act as the technical resource to troubleshoot problems.Own quality: monitor non-conformances in real time, define corrections, and drive completion of actions.Manage resources: maintain supplies, tools, and equipment; approve vacation schedules; uphold housekeeping, safety, and work rules.Primary focusBending operations and the powder coat paint line are your center stage.
