Form Relief Tool Company is a nearly 40-year precision cutting tool manufacturer, operating under new ownership with a growth mindset. We are seeking a CNC Mill Programmer to play a key role in stabilizing and advancing our production operations.
This position is programming-focused and suited for an experienced programmer who is comfortable supporting production directly on the shop floor.
Position Overview
The CNC Mill Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC mill programs used in cutting tool manufacturing. This role works closely with operations to ensure programs run consistently across multiple machines and support reliable lead times.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC mill programs for cutting tool production
- Support and refine programs across multiple mills and control platforms (G-code / M-code)
- Troubleshoot and validate programs directly on the shop floor
- Follow established processes while contributing to continuous improvement
- Communicate clearly with operations regarding priorities and production flow
Required Qualifications
- Proven CNC mill programming experience
- Experience programming CNC mills across varying control platforms (control-specific experience welcome but not required)
- Experience in tooling, carbide, or tight-tolerance machining strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a production environment
- Demonstrated reliability and consistency in prior roles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
