Safety Coordinator (Night Shift)

Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting FLP’s safety program by conducting field training, jobsite inspections, and required documentation to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. The Safety Coordinator works closely with Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers to maintain safe, efficient job sites, and partners directly with crew members to ensure they clearly understand safety expectations, procedures, and best practices.

This role will be based in the Ellendale, ND area. This role will be assigned to the night shift (5:30 PM to 4 AM).

The primary role of the Safety Coordinator includes the following essential functions:

• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training in both English and Spanish.
• Ensure all employees understand and follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and jobsite protocols.
• Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and hazard assessments.
• Maintain safety records, training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
• Serve as a communication link between management and field employees across languages.
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in safety, construction, or related field (preferred).
• Current and valid OSHA 30 certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
