Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is seeking an experienced construction leader to take ownership of our day-to-day field operations as our Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee the execution of all FLP construction projects, directly managing Project Managers and Field Supervisors. The Operations Manager will drive efficiency in the field, coordinate labor across multiple projects, and maintain clear, consistent communication between the field, office, and leadership team. This position is responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the quality and standards that FLP is known for.
Applicants must have/possess:
- High physical capacity/able to lift 50 lbs
- Current and valid Driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- Clear background record
- 4 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or field leadership

The primary role of the Operations Manager includes the following essential functions:
- Lead and manage Field Supervisors and Project Management teams
- Oversee all projects to ensure schedules, budgets, and production targets are met
- Plan and coordinate labor across multiple project sites
- Monitor job progress and proactively address delays, labor issues, and field challenges
- Maintain consistent communication between field teams, office staff, and leadership
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company expectations
- Conduct regular job site visits to verify quality, progress, and performance
- Identify and implement improvements in processes, scheduling, and field execution
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or field leadership
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams at once
- Deep understanding of construction operations and processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability and performance
- Ability to make decisions quickly and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and effective communicator across all levels of the organization
