Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is currently seeking a motivated and highly organized individual to join our team as our Office Manager. The Office Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily office operations with a primary focus on accounting functions and administrative support. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this position manages accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general bookkeeping while ensuring the office runs efficiently and supports company goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, growing construction company.

This role will be based in the Grand Forks OR Fargo, ND area!

Applicants must have/possess:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Reliable means of transportation

The primary role of the Office Manager includes the following essential functions:

  • Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with maintaining accurate accounting and administrative records
  • Assist with job costing, compliance, expense tracking, and reconciliation
  • Assist with weekly payroll processing
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Provide administrative support to Operations department(s )
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff
  • Ensure all financial records comply with company policies, accounting standards, and industry regulations
  • Performs other related duties and projects, as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1–3 years of accounting, office administration, or related finance experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software (ex: Outlook, Word, Excel, and QuickBooks)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
