Job Title: RN PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)Location: CaliforniaDepartment/Unit: PACU RecoverySalary Range: $60 to $70 per hourShift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)Duration: 13 Weeks Position Summary:Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated RN for the PACU Recovery unit in California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. Key Responsibilities:Monitor and assess patients during their recovery from anesthesia in the PACU.Provide care for patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed, while monitoring for adverse reactions.Educate patients and their families about post-operative recovery and care.Document all patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records.Requirements:Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license.ICU experience is required.Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CHS, NIH Certification.36 hours per week (GWW) commitment, with day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.If you are passionate about providing high-quality recovery care and are looking for an opportunity to grow in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply!
