This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services in the Radiology department. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans and X-rays on patients according to established protocols and procedures.Provide imaging services for trauma, strokes, outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room patients.Assist with a small volume of procedures as required.Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.Start IVs as needed for contrast administration.Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and accurate diagnoses.Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.Document all imaging studies accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (Meditech), and utilize PACS for image management.Unit DetailsNumber of Scanners: 1 CT scanner.Average Number of Scans/Studies per Day: 60-80.Department Equipment: Siemens imaging equipment.RequirementsCurrent certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).State license in Washington.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray preferred, with trauma and stroke patient experience favored.Strong technical skills and familiarity with imaging equipment.Additional InformationFloating Requirements: Technologists may need to cover both X-ray and CT during graveyard shifts.Radiologist Availability: Radiologists are in-house from 8 AM to 5 PM and available by call after hours.Lead Tech: A lead technologist will be present during the day shift.If you are passionate about providing exceptional imaging services and looking for an opportunity to grow in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply!Feel free to adjust any sections or details as necessary to better fit your specific requirements.
