Job Summary
Job Summary
The District Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative, fiscal, and student services support to the District under the supervision of the Business Manager and Student Services Coordinator. This role supports daily operations by assisting with purchasing, accounts payable, fiscal recordkeeping, reporting, and audit preparation, while also maintaining confidential student and special education records, supporting required state and federal reporting, coordinating meetings, and assisting families and staff with student services information. In addition, the position assists the District Nurse with basic health support for students, maintains health documentation, and manages the district's inventory of instructional materials and supplies. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while collaborating with staff, families, and outside agencies. Prior administrative or school district experience is preferred, along with a high school diploma, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
