Job Summary

Forest Lake Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math and Science Teacher to provide interactive classroom instruction and support student engagement in a positive learning environment. The teacher will implement math and science curriculum and deliver effective classroom instruction to middle school students. The position involves working in collaboration with colleagues to support the academic, social, and spiritual development of each student. The ideal candidate will develop and implement effective lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity in both subject areas. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment, and communicating regularly with parents and school staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching middle school students, will have strong classroom management skills, will be able to integrate Christian values into daily classroom instruction and interactions with students. The teacher will have a strong commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Christ-centered educational environment. Responsibilities: -Teach middle school math and science courses aligned with curriculum standards -Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote inquiry, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding -Foster a positive, respectful, structured, and supportive classroom environment -Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments -Maintain accurate records of grades and student performance -Integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview into instruction and classroom culture -Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations -Work with parents as partners in education and build strong relationships with students -Contribute to a supportive culture of collaboration with colleagues and ad
