What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician position at Forest County Potawatomi Community?
Here's What You’ll Be Doing
- Provides technical assistance to all FCPC departments as needed.
- Performs project site visits and inspections as needed.
- Inspects and evaluates electrical equipment to ensure it meets requirement of the National Electric Code.
- Installs and repairs all electrical appurtenances per industry standards.
- Determines materials needed for repairs and new construction.
- Prepares in-house electrical estimates.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and workplace safety.
- High school diploma or GED also must have a Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License at time of hire and/or must acquire Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Requires five or more years in construction and/or related fields.
- Must maintain Journeyman electrician license per state requirements.
- Valid driver’s license
- Skill in using personal computers, standard business software and database management skills
