Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the movement of materials and equipment across all construction projects.
- Ensure construction sites have the necessary tools, materials and equipment by monitoring schedules and detecting supply needs.
- Convey critical project information between field crews and office management.
- Monitor inventory of supplies for different jobs or sites.
- Receive and deliver materials and supplies from various vendors for projects and inventory.
- Load, deliver and operate heavy and light machinery used on construction sites.
- Assist with inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 or more years’ as a Lead Carpenter or foreman on construction job sites; 5 or more years creating material lists and quoting construction projects.
- Experience operating, loading and hauling heavy equipment.
- Expert knowledge of building materials and current building trends.
- Significant experience of analyzing and following technical specifications of material and equipment.
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age; able to get commercial within 1 year of employment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities.
- Experience in Project management.
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
- Continued education in construction or related field.
- Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor license.
- Currently hold a class A commercial driver’s license.
- 10 or more years’ estimating and leading construction jobsites.
