Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident health and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assess nutritional status of residents upon admission and as needed.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations related to nutrition and dietary services.
Collaborate with the food service department to ensure menus meet resident needs and preferences.
Document assessments, interventions, and progress in medical records.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in the state of Massachusetts.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, especially in a long-term care/rehab setting.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
