Position Overview
As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll contact "new leads" by phone and email, qualify their interest, and make appointments for the most-qualified prospects with our Account Executives. Using strong consultative and selling skills, you will be responsible for helping potential customers navigate early stages of the sales process.
The Sales team is looking for an agile, people-focused, detail-oriented professional who will strive to be an important member of the team. To be successful in this role, you will need to gain a deep understanding of the sales process, possess superb interpersonal skills and be a self-starter. Previous B2B software sales or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
· Establish, develop, and grow new business relationships
· Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
· Lead prospecting through targeted outreach, research, and pipeline development to consistently generate new business opportunities
· Utilize and leverage internal technology to manage sales leads effectively
· Understand and uncover a prospect organization’s business drivers, processes, challenges, pain points, and potential alignment with Forecast Pro
· Use Salesforce CRM to ensure knowledge transfer regarding account development, outreach progress, and opportunity pursuit
· Proactively follow up with customers to ensure that they're achieving their desired business results with our software
· Receive ongoing professional development and training to help you elevate performance, grow your career, and establish a foundation for long-term sales success

Requirements for the Position
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· One-two years of sales experience preferred
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Strong sense of urgency and a competitive edge, results-driven mindset
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience with demand planning and/ or supply chain management preferred
