Job Summary
This role will work with the recruiting team to ensure a smooth recruiting and onboarding experience for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders. The Specialist will support the development, design, and implementation of full cycle recruitment workflows and processes. This role will work collaboratively to improve the recruiting processes and candidate experience by maximizing tools, metrics, and technology to source, attract, and select talent.
The best-fit candidate for this role has experiencing working in a corporate recruiting role; is proficient in using an ATS; has excellent communication skills; is a self-starter with honed project management, time management, and follow through skills; demonstrated ability to interact with credibility, confidence, and authority with all levels of leadership within the organization.

This position is a hybrid role which requires the employee to work in the Dearborn, MI office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Essential Functions
- Create, track, and maintain job descriptions and profiles to ensure role clarity and compliance with HR-related processes.
- Coordinate and/or conduct phone screens and interviews.
- Act as administrator for ATS and make improvements to support efficient and candidate-friendly recruiting processes that project a positive employer brand.
- Act as administrator for Onboarding system to support smooth onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Coordinate the onboarding ambassador program to ensure new employees have a successful orientation experience.
- Track, monitor, and communicate critical recruiting success factors to refine strategies and tactics, evaluate progress, and improve processes.
- Support annual workforce planning by preparing data, tracking updates, and coordinating quarterly hiring forecast meetings with business area leaders
- Coordinate and complete immigration support processes with external counsel.
- Coordinate employer branding processes and initiatives to appeal to and attract a diverse candidate pool.
- Stay current on federal/state laws and regulations including EEOC, ADA , NLRB, and coordinate updates to recruiting sites and documents.
- Support the processing of personnel actions and general HR initiatives and workflows.
Qualifications
Experience
- Hands-on experience supporting a talent acquisition function including candidate management, D&I, immigration, and offers, 3 years.
- Experience working in a full-service HR team, 5 years.
- Experience working in a SaaS, digital, or technology focused environment, preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Skills and knowledge in recruiting principles, best practices, employment laws and regulations related to immigration, ADA, EEOC.
- Basic skills in behavioral-based interviews, assessments, selection tools and related laws.
- Immigration process knowledge (H-1B, TN, etc.).
- Knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., ATS, CRM, research, and sourcing tools), preferably SAP.
- Knowledge of talent management and development best practices and processes (talent review, succession planning, workforce planning, competency modeling, career paths, professional/career development, etc.).
- Skilled at writing, cataloguing, organizing, and maintaining job profiles/descriptions.
- Resilient, flexible, and comfortable working in ambiguous and paradoxical situations.
- Organizational agility and stakeholder partnering skills.
- Skilled change agent who is abreast of latest industry standards and who can enable effective change.
- Ability to facilitate small group discussions and presentations.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Relevant training, learning, and/or OD certifications are highly desirable
PHR, SPHR Certification, preferred
