- Develop and update curricula that integrate current research, innovative teaching methods, and learning technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Blackboard
- Utilize classroom experience to create an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs and promotes active participation
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects; provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement
- Incorporate creative writing techniques and social work principles when applicable to enhance communication skills and critical thinking
- Conduct research on language acquisition trends and incorporate findings into instructional strategies
- Support library services by guiding students in research methodologies using tools like SPSS or GIS when relevant to coursework
Qualifications
- Proven experience in higher education teaching, adult education, or university settings with a strong background in English instruction
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and the use of learning technology platforms such as LMS (Learning Management System) and Blackboard
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to support multilingual student populations
