The English Gardener (Buffalo, NY area, Snyder-based)
Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour (based on experience) with comprehensive benefits package: 401K & bonus eligibility with room to grow within the company.
Job Description
We’re recruiting a Crew Leader who can run safe, efficient, high-quality jobs while building a strong crew culture and a great client experience.
What success looks like
- Work meets or exceeds labor and materials expectations (profitable jobs)
- Happy crew and happy customers
- Safety and training executed consistently
Key responsibilities
- Plan the day, prioritize work, and keep the crew productive
- Read and follow design plans and material lists, coordinate with designers and project manager
- Run tailgate safety talks and enforce safety policies
- Jobsite setup, materials readiness, clean equipment and staging areas
- Lead the crew to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards
- Submit required paperwork by deadline
- Daily time and job reporting in LMN (timesheets and reports with pictures)
Requirements
- Driver’s license required and minimum physical requirements lifting 50 lbs
- Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or construction preferred
- Professional communication and strong jobsite organization
