In this position...

Lead incoming supplier quality supervisor for afternoon shift. Manages incoming supplier issues, PPAP's and supervises team of UAW hourly workers. Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 11pm.

What you'll do...

  • Coordinates and maintains Supplier PPAP submittals and Functional approvals
  • Issues Quality Rejects to Suppliers using QR2
  • Inputs Quality Rejects into the CMMS System
  • Maintains CMMS System input
  • Coordinates Supplier Quality Reject Chargebacks
  • Coordinates, reviews and approves Supplier 8D Responses
  • Track supplier 8D's
  • Principle contact with STA / Purchasing regarding supplier issues
  • Supports APQP with Suppliers and STA
  • Supports Plant PRT and PCT
  • Lead the Problem Resolution Process (PRT) for Supplier Concerns & Containment
  • Lead problem-solving activities to prevent recurrence of customer failures and plant FTT issues –
  • Support Plant Quality-office related reviews and meetings – Daily Quality Start-Up, Warranty problem solving, lead 8D reviews
  • Coordinates Pass-Thru Characteristic Management with Suppliers and STA
  • Supervises 3rd party sorting activity
  • Supervises Hourly Supplier Quality Technician(s)
  • Develop and maintain systems which supports QOS

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, previous production supervision
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality
  • Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

  • Previous automotive and quality analysis experience
