The Personal Lines Processor provides administrative and technical support to the service team, ensuring accurate and timely policy processing. This role manages back-end documentation and supports the smooth operation of agency workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and new business submissions
- Prepare binders, certificates, ID cards, and renewal documents
- Maintain data accuracy in the agency management system
- Assist with renewal preparation and carrier follow-ups
- Support Account Managers and Account Executives with daily administrative tasks
- Ensure all documentation complies with agency and carrier standards
- Relationships & Collaboration
- Supports AMs & AEs on servicing tasks
- Communicates directly with carriers for documentation and confirmations
- Minimal client-facing responsibility
- All other duties as assigned to support the team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient with agency management systems and carrier platforms
- Strong administrative and time-management skills
- Team-oriented and reliable
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and processes
- Experience: Entry level position, with no experience required
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D required
- Certifications/Licensing: Willingness and ability to obtain Michigan Property & Casualty License before or during employment as required
- Physical Requirements: This position primarily involves sedentary work performed in an office environment. The employee must be able to remain in a seated position for extended periods while using a computer and telephone. Frequent use of hands and fingers is required for typing, data entry, and handling documents. The role may occasionally require standing, walking short distances, and lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds (such as files or office supplies). Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
