Responsibilities
What you'll do...

- Payment & Statement Strategy: Oversee the global roadmap for payment processing and customer statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless customer experience.
- Financial Integrity: Lead the product execution for Accounting and Tax calculations. Ensure all systems meet requirements, Ford Global Accounting Standards, and internal audit controls.
- Regulatory & Credit Bureau Compliance: Ensure all receivables products meet rigorous state, federal, and international regulatory requirements, as well as Credit Bureau reporting standards.
- Operational Excellence: Establish operating rhythms and performance dashboards to track the health of projects monitoring KPIs, risks, and dependencies across the financial lifecycle.
- Transformation Integration: Partner closely with the modernization team to ensure the Receivables roadmap is fully integrated with enterprise modernization efforts. Act as the bridge between current core operations and future-state platforms.
- Representing the Core: Ensure that the complex requirements of Payments, Tax, and Accounting are accurately represented and protected as the company migrates to new technologies.
- Continuous Evolution: Proactively identify opportunities to evolve legacy processes within the Receivables space, ensuring the team remains agile and ready to adopt new tools and frameworks delivered by the transformation team.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the Receivables Core Product team, fostering a culture of “raising the bar” while ensuring continuous professional development.
- Executive Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across Securitization, Finance, Engineering, Architecture and core operations.
- Matrix Collaboration: Cultivate high-trust partnerships across Operations, Technology, and the Transformation Office to assure alignment and flawless execution.
You'll have...
- Leadership Experience: Current LL5 (Director) experience or external equivalent, with a proven track record of leading high-complexity, mission-critical organizations.
- Master’s degree or combination of experience and education. MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of success in delivering impactful complex platform products.
- 4 years of experience with Jira
- Deep expertise in AI tools, industry trends, competitive landscape in AI, and organizational strategies to enable AI adoption.
- Deep expertise in data strategies to enable reusable data marts, connected customer journey analytics, and our data products.
- Ability to secure executive buy-in, influence teams, and exceptional story-telling.
- Expertise in technical platforms, APIs, cloud services, technical products.. Alternatively, have led engineering teams that built cloud services or custom software platform solutions, as a Product leader.
- Be comfortable to collaboratively develop tech POVs; and hold architectural discussions using latest technology tools and services.
- Be proficient with technology systems, system design, APIs, Non-functional requirements, data, big-data, data management and other architectural patterns. ML/AI experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with platform products and growing adoption across an enterprise.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Software Development methodologies such as AgileSAFE methods and Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift regularly.
- Ability to break down complex tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks identifying clear pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies. Fosters an environment of constant delivery and ownership in their areas. Able to help get things shipped and team members prioritize work in their key focus areas.
