What are the responsibilities and job description for the LINE FOREMAN position at Force Electrical Services, LLC?
Force Electrical Services is accepting applications for the position of Line Foreman in the Western Oklahoma District. The Line Foreman leads the crew to complete daily tasks. They read blueprints of projects and are responsible for production. This position oversees the Line team, ensures crew safety, and collaborates with personnel from other departments.
Core Responsibilities
- Obtains all the necessary materials for the job, and ensures all permits and licenses are in place.
- Oversees work related to each project and assumes full responsibility for its quality and timeliness.
- Directs the line crew in a manner that will make the most effective use of time and equipment.
- Compliance with proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices according to Force or the customer, whichever standard is higher.
- Facilitates daily talks and weekly safety inspections. Disseminates information and ensures understanding of safety briefings.
- Coordinates and supervises daily tasks for crew members related to digging and placing product.
- Drives, hauls, and/or operates equipment to/from job sites to assist crews in completion of work.
- Trains new hires and trainees to learn the trade.
- Calls in utilities located at each project site.
- Responsible for the safety of the line crew, ensuring safe work practices are followed.
- Responsible for training and mentoring of line crew and apprentices.
The Line Foreman reports to the General Foreman.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment and general construction.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Must have at least five years' experience as a journeyman lineman
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

Requirements
- Reside in the district in which they are normally assigned to work.
- Must possess a Class A CDL and a safe driving record
- Must be able to perform First Aid/CPR and pole top rescue
- Physical examination, including required drug and alcohol screening, which releases the successful applicant to perform the essential functions of the Line Foreman
- Must have at least five years' experience as a journeyman lineman
