Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground transmission lines.
- Perform assigned duties in accordance with established training levels, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities under the direction of experienced linemen.
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and effectively.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights as required.
- Follow company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Fundamental understanding of the electrical transmission system preferred.
- Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; enrollment in or completion of an apprentice lineman program preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience required.
