Overview: Must be able to identify and remove debris from manifold blocks. To perform the job properly, the Deburring Technician must have basic product knowledge, an understanding of production procedures, and ability to use common hand and power tools. The position requires self-direction, focus, and a strong desire to work within a team environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Identify and remove debris within components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Handle products to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications.
- Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
- Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.
- Maintain an orderly work environment.
- Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
- Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.
- Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.

- Distribution and Valve: There are periodic high noise levels and vibration associated with this job. Sources include: engine noise, air compressors, air powered equipment, and other shop noises.

- Must be able to lift objects from floor to waist level. Must be able to move objects/parts/tools and equipment from one area to another and one level to another level.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Standing or Sitting for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Reaching – extending and pulling the hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction while working with various tools as mentioned above.
- Handling - seizing, holding, grasping, turning, pulling, or otherwise working with hands and arms.
