Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Part Puller/Deburring Technician, where your attention to detail will play a vital role in producing high-quality components. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for efficiently removing metal parts from laser cut steel remnants. Sort, count, organize, and label parts according to established processes and shop-supplied documents. Your hands-on skills and safety awareness will contribute to a smooth production flow, supporting our commitment to excellence and precision in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
· Carefully remove metal parts from laser cut remnants while inspecting for cutting quality and surface imperfections along with using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
· Interpret shop drawings and documents to accurately identify, count, sort and label parts by part number, order number.
· Operate power grinders/tools, sanders, and other miscellaneous hand tools to remove excess material and burrs from parts, ensuring smooth edges and proper finish.
· Perform basic metal fabrication tasks including deburring, tapping, and preparing metal parts for future fabrication steps
· Assist with materials handling tasks such as forklift operation to move raw materials or finished products safely within the facility. Company-provided training will be provided if age requirements are met
· Record an accurate log of job times and labor reporting using shop computers
· Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly handling materials, packaging finished parts, and adhering to safety standards in production environments.
Skills
· Ability to read and write in English to complete paperwork and follow up on necessary actions
· Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools to identify parts by part number, measurements, and material grade
· Interpret shop drawings to accurately identify, sort and label parts by part number, order number.
· Ability to accept work instructions and communicate effectively with others
· Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties
· Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to quality control and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
