Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a service professional with extensive customer service experience to join our Customer Service team. This key position will promote and support a positive work atmosphere, with heavy emphasis on professionalism, teamwork, empowerment, and accountability. This position is based in the Hazleton, PA area. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Initial onsite training in Hazleton, PA is required. Upon successful completion of training, the role will transition to a fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies information provided on the customer order to ensure order entry accuracy.
- Processes customer orders promptly and in line with current order entry procedures.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Monitors and manages open orders to ensure customer delivery dates are met.
- Handles customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Handles and resolves customer complaints.
- Documents customer interactions.
- Works internally to resolve problems, facilitate solutions, and enhance the customer experience.
- Initiates and maintains a positive experience for the customer.
- Educates the customer on Forbo products, applications, and processes.
- Participates in and provides expertise as a member of the Customer Service team.
- Provides back up support to other team members.
- Participates, supports, and provides feedback on the Perfect Service program and Forbo’s policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
