Program Manager (Data)
Client Location: Chicago, IL
Type: 6 month contract with potential extension
Note: This position is hybrid 3 days a week onsite/2 days a week remote. Candidates must be located in the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of a large, highly complex program spanning multiple IT and business departments. This individual will manage the initiation, planning, execution, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years experience in a PM capacity
- Specific projects in the Data Analytics, AI, Strategy space
- Strong familiarity with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Flexible during times of change.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
- Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
