Consumer & Market Insights Consultant
Location: Chicago, downtown - hybrid schedule is preferred
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Own and execute primary research initiatives across multiple workstreams
- Translate business questions into research plans and manage end-to-end methodology
- Synthesize primary, syndicated, and behavioral/transactional data into clear, cohesive narratives
- Build executive-ready presentations and deliver actionable insights to cross-functional partners
- Manage external research vendors including briefings, timelines, deliverables, and quality control
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of custom consumer research experience (supplier-side preferred; combo of supplier client-side considered)
- Strong grasp of quantitative and qualitative research methods and survey development
- Ability to synthesize multiple data sources and apply statistical concepts
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; Tableau or similar BI tools a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-moving environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Psychology, Market Research, or related field)
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
Salary : $45 - $60
