Job Summary

Join the team at For All Seasons, a respected non-profit Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center serving Maryland’s Mid-Shore region. In this role, you will provide trauma-informed clinical services to individuals, families, and groups using therapeutic modalities in which you specialize.

Licensed Therapists maintain a balanced caseload while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive high-quality behavioral health care. This is a permanent, full-time in-person position offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and maintain an active Maryland clinical license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic services appropriate to the age, diagnosis, developmental stage, and mental status of assigned clients, including individuals, families, and groups
  • Assess client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences and develop a diagnostic impression using current DSM criteria
  • Create individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, authorizations, and other chart documentation
  • Deliver direct behavioral health services (including psychosocial assessments, consultation, supervision, and individual, group, or family therapy) for at least 65% of allocated clinical hours per the established annual standard
  • Participate in professional in-service training and community education programs
  • Coordinate and complete referrals to appropriate community resources and maintain related documentation in client charts
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop strategies and interventions that support positive wellness outcomes
  • Attend regularly scheduled clinical supervision, preparing case presentations, questions, and ethical discussions as needed
  • Maintain required state licensure, certifications, and continuing education
  • Communicate clinical concerns with the Direct Supervisor and Chief Clinical Officer (CCO)
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with leadership and team members

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to utilize culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients
  • Strong ability to work independently while managing a clinical caseload
  • Ability to remain calm and responsive in rapidly changing or crisis situations
  • Willingness to participate in agency meetings, supervision, and training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in all work settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to balance big-picture clinical goals with day-to-day responsibilities
  • Strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality policies
  • Demonstrates accountability, urgency, and practical problem-solving
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for assigned duties

Education & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or related field
  • Active and good-standing clinical license in the State of Maryland
