Foothills is seeking an Art Instructor. This position is responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching students with varying abilities how to use tools and raw materials properly and encouraging students to show creativity and individuality with their artworks. The Art Instructor must be dependable and have experience teaching children and adults.

Required Experience
The Art Instructor will be hired dependent on experience in the following position:
Art Instructor I
RATE: $20.75 per hour
- Three (3) years experience of teaching years in a specialized art form. Instructor shall be a working artist and/or art educator and must possess at least three (3) of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or directly related field;
- Five (5) years of on-going experience in a specialized art form;
- Have completed an apprenticeship;
- Possesses extensive knowledge gained through a variety of specialized workshops/trainings and possesses extensive knowledge of equipment required for the successful operations of the class/program.
RATE: $26.25 per hour
- Five (5) years experience of teaching years in a specialized art form. Instructor shall be a working artist and/or art educator and must possess at least three (3) of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or directly related field
- Eight (8) years of on-going experience in a specialized art form
- Have completed an apprenticeship
- Possesses extensive knowledge gained through a variety of specialized workshops/trainings and possesses extensive knowledge of equipment required for the successful operations of the class/program
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
