REPORTS TO: Director for Fianance and Human Resources
POSITION: FULL-TIME, 10 HRS/DAY, (4 DAYS/WEEK); 184 DAYS PER YEAR
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required; college experience preferred.
Experience with payroll and/or accounts payable accounting software desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to be a team player required.
Attention to detail and ability to use independent judgment and make decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with system, state, and federal requirements with all records correct and up-to-date.
- Prepares Foothills payroll/leave reports to meet all locals, federal, and state requirements.
- Process monthly Foothills payroll runs following all guidelines and procedures.
- Assist Foothills employees with questions/issues.
- Foster effective working relationships between Foothills administration, staff, students, and the public.
- Setup and maintain TCP for new employees and existing staff.
- Ensure that benefits are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with salary calculations and yearly verification letters
- Create and disperse W-2 forms to employees
- Provide general clerical support.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/supervisors.
