RVT Manager

Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is growing and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as RVT Manager!

This hands-on role involves spending approximately 75% of your time on the nursing floor and 25% on administrative tasks, with flexibility based on the practice’s needs.

As RVT Manager, you’ll lead our Veterinary Technician and Assistant teams, delegate tasks to optimize workflow, uphold safety and medical standards, and collaborate closely with the hospital manager and department leads to ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll also be responsible for creating and implementing medical SOPs, developing training materials, and mentoring our dedicated team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about both patient care and team development, with the ability to foster a positive and supportive culture.

This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule and Saturday or Sunday availability required.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $35-40 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• Current Registered Veterinary Technician license in the state of California
• 3 years in a supervisor or management role
• Experience with creating SOPs and training materials
• Experience with mentorship and training
• Strong dentistry skills including charting, radiographs, prophy, polish, and extractions
• Familiarity with Cornerstone software and Fear Free patient handling is a plus!
